SafeLink Wireless, Lifeline service, which have benefits such as FREE cellular service, a FREE mobile phone, and FREE air time, can be obtained by getting enrolled in the program.

Lifeline Assistance is part of that program which was created by the government to provide discounted or free telephone service to the consumers who cannot afford to buy or obtain cell phone due to their economical conditions. You can receive FREE cellular service, a FREE cell phone, and FREE Minutes every month, through their Lifeline Service. SafeLink Wireless Service does not cost anything to any of its user - It doesn't have any contracts, nor recurring fees or any monthly charges. If you have not used any minutes provided in one month then these will roll-over in the next month. All basic value added services including caller ID, call waiting and voicemail are included with the package and are free of cost. If you would like to use some additional minutes, you have the opportunity to buy TracFone Airtime Cards through your local TracFone retailer: Walmart, Family Dollar, etc. SafeLink Airtime Cards should be available soon. The exact numbers of benefits i.e. the number of free Minutes per month depends upon the state you live.

How to Qualify for a free Safelink Wireless mobile phone? Again here the procedure to be eligible for Lifeline Service is dependent on the State you live in. In general, you may qualify if:

You do not ever require signing any contract with SafeLink Wireless for the services. When you will receive your SafeLink Wireless handset, it will be pre-activated for one year of service, and the number of minutes applied will be for the first month will also be included. During the first three days of the month the applied number of free minutes for each month will be automatically transferred to your account until you will keep your phone operating.
